These also belong to forged pipe fittings with screwed type end connections and probably the oldest method of piping. Like socket weld pipe fittings, threaded pipe fittings are mostly used for small bore piping generally for piping whose nominal diameter is NPS 2 or smaller. Threaded piping is commonly used in low-cost, noncritical applications such as domestic water, fire protection, and industrial cooling water systems. These are available in three pressure ratings such as Class 2000, 3000 and 6000.

Threaded 45 Degree Elbows

Threaded 45 Degree Elbow Fittings are used to change the direction of run pipe to 45-degree. Available from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 2000, 3000 and 6000.

Threaded 90 Degree Elbows

Threaded 90 Degree Elbow Fittings are used to change the direction of run pipe to 90-degree. Available from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 2000, 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Tees

Threaded Tee Fittings are used to make a 90-degree branch from the run pipe. Available from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 2000, 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Crosses

Threaded Cross Fittings are used to make a 2 x 90-degree branch from the run pipe. Available in both equal and reducing variation from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 2000, 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Laterals

Threaded Lateral Fittings are used to make a 45-degree branch from the run pipe. Available in both equal and reducing outlet configuration from 1/8" up to 2-1/2" in Class 3000 and from 1/2" up to 2" in Class 6000.

Threaded Caps

Threaded Cap Fittings are used to make an end or closure of any pipe or fittings in a threaded piping system. Available in from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Boss

Threaded Boss Fittings are a weld-on connection which provides a self-reinforced, one-piece connection branch outlet from a run pipe. Available in from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Couplings

Threaded Coupling Fittings are used to connect two pipes having equal diameter and male threads. Available in from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Half Couplings

Threaded Reducing Coupling Fittings are used to make a branch connection from a larger diameter run pipe to a smaller bore outlet pipe. Available from 1/8" up to 4" in Class 3000 and 6000 and from 1/2" up to 2" in Class 9000.

Threaded Reducer Couplings

Threaded Reducing Coupling Fittings are used to connect male threaded pipes of different diameters. These basically acts as a reducers in a pipeline. Available in from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Flush Bushings

Threaded Flush Bushing Fittings are used to connect a reduced size pipe to a larger size female threaded fitting. Available in sizes 1/8” up to 4” as per ASME B16.11.

Threaded Couplets

Threaded Couplet Fittings are used to connect two pipes with male threads. Unlike a threaded boss, it is provided with a straight length of weld ring which will be joined to the pipe by means of welding. Available in from 1/8" up to 4" in pressure class 3000 and 6000.

Threaded Unions

Threaded Union Fittings are used to connect two joints where frequent uncoupling is required. Two end weld pieces are united a centre piece making a temporary joint. These basically acts as a reducer. Available from 1/8" up to 3" in Class 3000 across BS 3799 and MSS-SP-83 standard.

Threaded Hex Bushings

Hex bushings are used to reduce the size of female threads from a larger to a smaller diameter. Available from 1/8” up to 4” across ASME B16.11 and BS 3799 standards.

Threaded Hex Plugs

Threaded Hex Plug Fittings are male threaded stoppage fittings used to plug any end of female threaded pipe or fitting to avoid leakage withing the piping system. Available from 1/8” up to 4” across ASME B16.11 and BS 3799 standards.

Threaded Round Plugs

Threaded Round Plug Fittings are similar to threaded hex plugs in function but with a round head instead of hex head. Available from 1/8” up to 4” across ASME B16.11 and BS 3799 standards.

Threaded Square Plugs

Similar to other threaded plugs, threaded square plugs have similar function but has a protruding square head for wrenching. Available from 1/8” up to 4” across ASME B16.11 and BS 3799 standards.

Threaded Bull Plugs

Threaded Bull Plug Fittings are used to stop up a hole or close off the end of a line or as an isolation device in piping systems, conduits or wellbore tubulars. Bull plugs provide a means of draining a line during maintenance operations. Available from 1/8” up to 12” as per MSS-SP-95 standard.

Threaded Swage Nipples

Threaded Swage Nipple Fittings works like a reducer but it is used to join a buttweld pipe to a Threaded joint. Available in concentric and eccentric variation from ¼” up to 10” outlet across BS 3799 and MSS-SP-95 standard.

Threaded Round Nipples

Threaded Pipe Nipple is usually provided with a male pipe thread (MPT) connection at each end of the fitting, which are used to make a watertight seal when connecting piping to threaded fittings, valves or equipment. Available from 1/8” up to 12” as per ASTM A733 standard specification.
